Workflow configuration

Keep the road leg
in the bigger picture.

Design connected workflows for trucking and drayage. Start with job intake, dispatch responsibilities and delivery evidence, then validate each capability against your operating requirements.

Trucking & drayage

Built around the handoffs that matter.

Connect the road leg to the shipment, customer, terminal and back office without another disconnected handoff. Start with a clear scope, a named owner for each workflow and representative test cases.

  • Shipment-linked transport requests and dispatch
  • Mobile driver app with load list and dock check-in
  • Touch-signature ePOD with photo inspections
  • Axle-weight and load-capacity matching
  • GPS milestones and geofenced arrival alerts
  • Billing and accounting handoff when the job completes

Let’s map your operation.

Tell us how cargo or passengers move today, where your team repeats work and which systems need to stay connected.

Talk to our team

Implementation scope, support arrangements and integration access are agreed with your team before rollout.

Sound familiar?

The problems this operation
usually starts with.

01

Dispatch runs on calls and chat threads

Jobs are passed on by phone and message, so the current plan lives in a dispatcher's head and changes are easy to miss.

02

Proof of delivery arrives days late

Paper receipts get lost, photographed badly or handed in at the end of the week, and billing waits for them.

03

Weight and permit surprises

Loads are matched to equipment by experience rather than axle weights and permit checks, which risks fines and delays.

04

Nobody knows where the truck is

Customers and terminals call to ask, and drivers are interrupted to answer.

05

Waiting time is hard to prove

Time spent queueing at a dock or terminal is rarely recorded, so it cannot be discussed with confidence afterwards.

06

Billing waits for paperwork

Invoices cannot go out until signed receipts are found and keyed in.

How it works

From transport request to paid invoice.

The road leg stays attached to the shipment, so dispatch, drivers, customers and finance all work from the same job.

  1. 1

    Receive the job

Transport requests arrive linked to the shipment, customer and terminal, with pickup, delivery and cargo details already attached.

  2. 2

    Assign the load

Match the load to a tractor and trailer using axle-weight calculations and road-permit checks, then assign a driver.

  3. 3

    Dispatch to the phone

The driver opens a mobile view with the load list, addresses, instructions and dock check-in. There is nothing to install from an app store.

  4. 4

    Move with visibility

Live GPS tracking and geofenced arrival alerts keep dispatch, customers and terminals informed without a phone call.

  5. 5

    Prove delivery

The driver captures a touch signature and photos on the phone, and the ePOD attaches to the load the moment it is submitted.

  6. 6

    Bill

Completed jobs create invoices and accounting entries automatically, with the proof of delivery and any waiting time attached.

What you get

The capabilities behind
each step.

Configured around your routes, cargo categories, approval rules and paperwork. Scope and availability are confirmed with you before rollout.

01Dispatch and planning

Shipment-linked transport requests

Jobs are created from, and stay tied to, the shipment they serve, so nothing is re-typed from a booking into a dispatch sheet.

Dispatch board and tractor-trailer assignment

Assign equipment and drivers to loads and see what is committed, unassigned or late at a glance.

Axle-weight, capacity and permit checks

Check a load against the equipment's axle configuration, payload and road-permit requirements before it leaves, not at the scale house.

Multi-stop and repeat routes

Plan multi-stop runs and recurring routes once, then reuse them instead of rebuilding them every day.

02On the road

Mobile driver app

A phone-first view with the load list, instructions and dock check-in, designed for one-handed use and installed from the browser.

Live GPS tracking

See where every truck is and follow a load's route as it happens.

Geofenced arrival and departure alerts

Arrival and departure are detected automatically at pickup and delivery locations and timestamped, so nobody has to call in.

Delivery windows and customer ETAs

Track appointment windows and share estimated arrival times with customers and terminals.

03Proof and inspection

Touch-signature ePOD with photos

Capture the consignee's signature and photos on the spot; dispatch and billing see them immediately.

Pickup and delivery proof

Record proof at both ends of the move, so a dispute over what was collected is settled from the record.

Equipment interchange and inspection photos

Document the condition of containers, chassis and vehicles at pickup and drop with time-stamped photos.

Exceptions handled on the load

Record refused, damaged, short or partial deliveries with a reason, an owner and a next step.

Car-hauler loads and VIN capture

Build loads vehicle by vehicle, flag inoperable or enclosed units and capture the VIN from a photo. Orders can arrive by EDI at VIN level, and proof of delivery goes out once every VIN on the load is delivered.

04Time, equipment and billing

Waiting-time and detention capture

Arrival and departure timestamps show how long a truck waited, which supports waiting-time and detention charges.

Driver and equipment records

Keep driver documents, equipment details and expiry dates in one place, with reminders before they lapse.

Rates, fuel surcharges and billing handoff

Apply your rate rules and fuel surcharges when the job completes and feed invoicing and your accounting system.

Vehicle and auto-hauling records

Vehicle loads carry the details they need, including the VIN, so a car is identified the same way from booking to delivery.

Every team, one record

What changes for the
people doing the work.

Dispatch

  • One board for every load and driver
  • Fewer status calls in both directions
  • Weight and permit checks before departure

Drivers

  • Everything for the job on the phone
  • Sign-off and photos in seconds
  • No paperwork to carry back to the office

Customer service

  • Answer status questions from live tracking
  • Share proof of delivery immediately
  • Fewer escalations about late paperwork

Billing and finance

  • Invoices created when the job completes
  • Proof of delivery already attached
  • Entries sync to your accounting system
Keep your systems

Connects to what
you already run.

Nothing here assumes you replace everything. We identify your systems of record first, then decide what to connect, configure or keep.

  • Accounting and ERP
  • Order feeds from carriers and shippers (EDI or API)
  • Terminal and pier operations
  • Customer notifications
  • QuickBase and other operational tools

Connections are agreed and tested for each implementation. See integration pathways.

Getting started

A sensible first phase.

A fleet does not need to change everything at once. The driver's day is the best place to start.

Step 01

Shadow a dispatch day

We follow a normal day from the first call to the last invoice and note where information is re-keyed or lost.

Step 02

Pilot with part of the fleet

Put a group of drivers on the mobile view with ePOD and tracking, running alongside your current process.

Step 03

Add billing and customer visibility

Once proof of delivery flows, connect invoicing and open status to customers and terminals.

Questions

Common questions

Do drivers need to install an app?

The driver experience is a mobile web app that works in the phone's browser, so there is nothing to install from an app store.

Can dispatch see proof of delivery immediately?

Signatures and photos are attached to the load the moment the driver submits them, so dispatch and billing see them without waiting for paperwork.

How does axle-weight matching work?

The platform checks a load's weight against the tractor-trailer's axle configuration and payload, and against road-permit requirements, before it is dispatched. The rules and limits are set up with you, because they depend on your equipment and routes.

Can customers and terminals see where a load is?

Yes. Live tracking and geofenced arrival alerts can be shared as notifications or status updates, and who sees what is configured with you.

Does this replace our dispatch software?

It can, or it can sit beside it. We first identify your systems of record and decide what to replace, connect or keep.

Does it handle auto hauling?

Vehicle loads carry vehicle-specific details such as the VIN. How your inspection and handover steps are recorded is agreed during scoping.

Your operation has enough moving parts.
Your technology shouldn’t add more.
